Planning Criteria
ITC performs the planning of its electrical transmission systems in an open and transparent manner through its participation in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (“MISO”) Transmission Expansion Planning process, the Southwest Power Pool (“SPP”) Integrated Transmission Planning (“ITP”) process, and the PJM Interconnection Regional Transmission Expansion Planning process.
Michigan Electric Transmission Company, LLC (METC) and International Transmission Company d.b.a. ITC Transmission operate under the MISO planning process. ITC Interconnection operates under the PJM planning process.
